Read data

When ‘Read Data’ is selected, the software communicates with the traction

control connected via the serial port lead and reads out all the traction control

settings. These values are then displayed in the software.

Note: you cannot read from the unit whilst the ‘real time’ function is running.

Write Data

When ‘Write data’ is selected, all the settings shown in the software are

written into the unit connected via the serial lead.

Note: you cannot read from the unit whilst the ‘real time’ function is running.

Real Time Play / Stop

Selecting ‘Real Time play’ enables live data to be read from the traction

control. The ‘Real Time play’ button will be disabled and the ‘Real Time Stop’

button becomes available. Selecting ‘Real Time Stop’ will stop the unit

transmitting data.

An indication that data is being read from the traction control is the flashing

indicator in the top right corner of the screen.

The live data will be visible in the ‘Real Time’ tab and also the graph window.

You can also press the ‘F2’ key to start real time and ‘F3’ to stop real time

without entering the menu.
